Education Support

One of the goals that members work on at Silver City Clubhouse is education. We currently have members attending local community colleges and 4-year colleges, members working towards their GED, and members working towards certifications.

Members receive support from Silver City Clubhouse staff, as well as our education and employment specialist, when pursuing educational opportunities.

Clubhouse staff support members by assisting with:

• Locating schools that fit their individual educational needs

• Filling out school applications, financial aid applications, and registration paperwork

• Accessing academic accommodations

• Locating transportation to and from school

• Providing continuous support while attending school
